When this policy mentions "FIDANTO", "we" or "our", it refers to both of our legal entities: FIDANTO LLC, our company based in the United States of America and ECADOO MEX, S.A.P.I de C.V., our company based in Mexico. These both legal entities are the ones in charge of collecting, managing and processing your information.
FIDANTO LLC // ECADOO MEX, S.A.P.I de C.V., function as a job aggregator that indexes all jobs available online so that you can find all jobs listed online on a single website.
In order to better serve our visitors and users ("you"), there are two categories of information that we collect:
"Long-term data" refers to any data we collect to provide you with a better job search and application experience. Long-Term Data" includes the following:
The creation of the account. When you apply for a job through the FIDANTO platform, we save your first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number and last uploaded CV (i.e. the most recently uploaded attachment) and associate it with an Account, so that you can easily apply for subsequent jobs without having to re-enter your application information each time.
If you choose not to upload your resume, you may be asked to provide more information about your work experience, education, certifications/licenses and skills, among other things. In most cases, you do not need to provide this information to apply, so you are free to choose whether or not to provide it. If you do, this information will also be associated with your Account, so you can easily apply for subsequent jobs without having to re-enter your application information each time. If you choose not to share this information, you can, in most cases, proceed to apply for the job. However, there are some cases in which work experience, education, certifications/licenses, and skills, among others, may be required by the employer in order for the employer to make hiring decisions. In those specific cases, if you choose not to provide this information, it will prevent you from applying for the job.
We also collect your job search history (jobs viewed, jobs added to favorites, jobs applied for, keywords and location typed into the search bar) to give you better and more personalized results, so you can find the jobs you are interested in faster and easier.
To keep you connected to your account while you're browsing our website, we also collect and store cookies that are deleted the moment you log out.
FIDANTO does not collect or accept sensitive personal data, nor will we request or accept data that refers to the most intimate sphere of the holder, or whose improper use could give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk for the holder. By way of example, we consider sensitive personal data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present or future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, political opinions and sexual preference;
E-mail alerts. When you subscribe to the FIDANTO Email Alerts service (also known as "Job Alerts"), we collect your email address, as well as the keyword(s) and location written in the search bar or displayed in the job posting from which you subscribed to the email alerts. This way, we can email you personalized and relevant job listings related to your job search.
Please note that you can manage your alerts or unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the "Unsubscribe from job alert" link at the bottom of any email alert. You can then click the "Delete" button next to the alert you wish to remove.
Traffic quality. We collect IP addresses and information about the device, operating system, and browser used to access our jobs. This information is stored separately from other information and is anonymized so that it cannot be linked to any other information that could be used to identify you as an individual. This helps us ensure that our traffic is genuine and acts as proof that real people are clicking on our jobs, not robots.
Salary. When applying for a job, you may be asked about your current and desired salary. This information will never be automatically passed on to employers, unless it is part of the "Short-Term Data" required by employers. Providing this information is not mandatory, but if you choose to do so, our recruitment specialists will be able to access this data and use it to help you negotiate your salary with employers interested in your profile. However, you should be aware that recruitment specialists often contact you before discussing your profile with the employer.
The main purpose of requesting salary information is to better tailor the content we show and send to you. You can read more about customizing content in section 2 ("HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION").
Short-term data" refers to any information requested by an employer to enable a job seeker to successfully apply for a job, in addition to the information already mentioned in the "Long-term data" section.
Some of the most common examples of "short-term data" are the level of proficiency in certain programs; the level of proficiency in certain spoken or written languages; other skills assessments; or external links, such as portfolio links.
When you apply for a job and submit your application to employers directly through FIDANTO, we act as an intermediary between you and the employer. We collect this data temporarily and automatically transmit it to the employer on your behalf.
1.2.1 Important notice
Once an application is transmitted to an employer, FIDANTO cannot reverse the process or retrieve any data that has already been transmitted to the employer.
When you apply for a job using FIDANTO, you understand and agree that the information on your application is sent to the employer and that once your application is transmitted, the process cannot be undone since a copy of your information will already have reached the employer.
Content customization. We use the information we collect to provide a customized and simplified job search and application experience, either by showing you job listings tailored to your needs, sending you personalized e-mail alerts, push notifications or by providing you with a one-stop shop where you can apply for all the jobs that interest you, with your application details automatically and transparently transmitted to employers.
More employment opportunities. We use your application information to provide you with job opportunities that may have been missed or not shared with the rest of our users. Our recruitment specialists are always looking for outstanding candidates, so if your profile matches an employer's requirements, we will contact you to let you know. Please note that before contacting you, our Recruitment Specialists may review your application information - including your resume if you choose to attach it - so that they can determine if you would be a good candidate for the position.
Improving services. We use an anonymized version of your IP address to see how different users interact with our services so we can improve them.
Long-term data" (see 1.1) is stored in our system for as long as we need it to provide our services successfully, or until you wish to purge it (see 5.3). For example, in the case of e- mail alerts, we need to store your e-mail address so that we can send you the alerts to which you have subscribed. You can access, manage and purge "Long Term Data" by logging into your FIDANTO account (see 6.1).
Short-term data" (see 1.2) is stored in our system for as long as employers need to access it. We keep them in case the transmission of your information to the employer has failed and we need to retransmit it to them. You can also purge your "Short-Term Data" at any time by logging into your FIDANTO account (see 6.1).
Please know that as long as you have a FIDANTO account, we assume that you are still applying for employment or will do so in the near future. Therefore, we keep your information available to prevent you from manually re-entering it the next time you decide to apply.
The information we collect is transferred, processed and stored in Mexico. Protecting your privacy and personal information is important to us. FIDANTO is committed to handling and processing your data in the most secure manner and attaches great importance to the way in which your information is handled and processed. We have a team assigned to all data security issues and are continuously working on new features to keep your information safe.
You can create an account or log into your FIDANTO account through third party websites (Facebook and Google). If you do not already have a FIDANTO account but you log in to FIDANTO using your Facebook or Google account, an account is created using the same email address that you have in your Facebook or Google account. If you agree to provide this information to FIDANTO, Facebook and Google will authenticate and redirect you to FIDANTO. Remember that when you log in to FIDANTO with your Facebook or Google account, these services generate a cookie to authenticate you as a Facebook or Google user. Facebook or Google may also ask for your permission to share other specific information with FIDANTO (including your name, profile picture, public profile information and email address). Once this permission is granted, the requested information will be shared with FIDANTO. This information will be used to provide you services, including filling in your FIDANTO profile. The information shared will remain associated with your FIDANTO profile until you modify or delete it.
We only disclose the information we obtain from you as described below:
We may share your anonymous IP address with our partners or customers, but we never match it with "Long-Term Data" or "Short-Term Data. The reason we share this information with our partners is to ensure the quality of traffic. This information acts as proof that real people are clicking on its contents, not robots.
When you apply for a job, we ask for your consent before we can share your application information with the employer who posted the job you are applying for. If you proceed to apply for the job, you understand that your application information will be sent to the employer and that, as detailed in 1.2.1, this process cannot be reversed.
We will never sell any of your information to advertisers or third parties.
We only collect and process your personal data when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect any processing that has already taken place prior to the withdrawal. Please note that withdrawal of your consent may prevent you from continuing to use some of our services.
You have the right to know if your personal data is being processed and, if so, to access it. We can provide you with a copy of the personal data being processed if you request it (see 5.5), unless this affects the rights and freedoms of others.
If you have any doubts about the purposes of the processing of your data, the categories of personal data concerned, the parties to whom they are disclosed or the period of time during which we store your data, please contact us and we will be happy to clarify any questions you may have in this regard.
You can change most of the personal data we collect from you by logging into your account (see 6.1). If you are unable to edit the information you wish to correct, please contact us with details of the data you wish to correct so that we can respond in a short term.
You have the right to obtain the deletion of your personal data without undue delay and may do so by accessing your account (see 6.1).
FIDANTO is obliged to delete such data when they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed. We will also delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data (see 4.1) or if you object to their processing (see 5.6).
In the unlikely event that you are unable to delete your information yourself (i.e. by following the steps detailed in 6.1), please contact us with details of the data you wish to delete so that we can address your problem in a timely manner.
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data. You may also choose to restrict the processing of your data instead of deleting it completely from our system, in which case you will have to contact us.
You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data you have provided to us, in case this data can be traced back to you, as an individual. You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us. You also have the right to transfer such data to another party.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information and may do so at any time by contacting us.
You have control over the information you choose to give us and can access, edit or purge your information at any time.
Account information. If you wish to access or edit your account information, you can do so by logging in to your account. If you prefer to delete all information associated with your account (either "Long Term Data" or "Short Term Data"), you may do so by logging into your account, clicking on the "Settings" section, and then "Purge My Account Information". All "Long Term Data" and "Short Term Data" associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our system, including data associated with any e-mail alerts you may have subscribed to.
If you wish to access or edit your alerts, you may do so by clicking on "Manage Work Alert Settings" in the "Enhance Alert" section of any email alert. You can then edit or delete individual alerts by clicking the "Enhance Alert" button which allows you to change keywords and location or improve relevance.
If you prefer to unsubscribe, you can do so by clicking the "Unsubscribe from Job Alert" link at the bottom of any email alert, then you can click the "Delete" button next to the alert you wish to remove.

Our newsletter subscription list is stored in HubSpot, which makes HubSpot the Processor in this case and FIDANTO the Data Controller. We do not sell email addresses to third parties.
Our policies have been established to help ensure a positive experience for all parties involved in our Editor and API programs. All publishers must comply with the following terms. If you, as a publisher, fail to comply with any of these terms without FIDANTO's permission, we reserve the right to suspend and close your account and cancel any scheduled payments immediately without further notice or official notification. Once your account is deactivated, you may not be eligible to participate in our publisher program.
Because our policies are subject to change at any time, please check the current page for updates. It is your responsibility to keep up to date and adhere to the policies listed here. Exceptions to these policies are allowed only with the permission of FIDANTO.
What does an editor do?
Publishers are third party entities from whom FIDANTO buys traffic, as part of our traffic acquisition strategy. They publish our content on their website and send their visitors to our pages in exchange for a click-through fee that can vary depending on numerous factors, including the country or the publisher's exposure.
Our relationship with publishers is a primary partnership, which means that all parties involved will benefit from it. Publishers must guarantee that they will bring quality traffic to our website, which means that all users browsing their websites must show a genuine interest in clicking on our links and therefore must agree to be redirected to our website and browse our content. Any publisher who does not follow this guideline may be subject to serious consequences, such as account cancellation or deactivation.
Invalid and misleading traffic:
What is it and how do we avoid it?
FIDANTO treats policy violations and invalid traffic very seriously to protect job seekers, publishers and advertisers. We pay close attention to traffic behavior by analyzing all clicks to determine if they fit a usage pattern that could artificially increase an advertiser's costs or a publisher's profits.
More specifically, we sample some traffic to measure what we call "Intent to Apply" (IOA) which corresponds to the percentage of people who show a genuine interest in applying for a given job. This is the most accurate indicator of users' AOI, as it requires them to fill out a quick form, showing that they are interested in applying for the job they are reading about. The industry average is 10%, which means that for every 100 visitors, 10 are usually willing to fill out the form to access the employer's website. If a publisher's IOA rate drops below a certain percentage, a quality assurance (QA) process is triggered, where we look for any invalid or misleading traffic sources, such as
If most of your traffic comes from any of the above channels we will consider it invalid, as it does not bring quality traffic to our website and interferes with our site's navigation. Please note that we will consider this a violation of our agreement and proceed to suspend or close your account without notice. We will also cancel any scheduled payments and reimburse all other parties affected by your traffic, if any.
